- Bowl gaskets, shaft seals, and faucet O-rings leaking. This is the failure we lead with here at home. We pull the bowl, inspect the shaft seal and the drive area, and replace the gasket set and the O-rings that ride in the dispense valve. Hardened rubber lets syrup weep past the shaft and drip into the base, so we clean the sealing surfaces and fit fresh parts rated for the unit. A proper seal job stops the loss and keeps the drive area dry.
- Auger drive slipping or stopped. When a San Ramon bowl stops spinning, we look at the magnetic coupling and the auger bushing together. A tired coupling can slip under a full bowl even when it still turns empty, which fools people into thinking the motor is fine. We test it loaded, replace the drive magnet or cup as needed, and make sure the auger seats correctly against a fresh seal.
- Refrigeration not reaching frozen. For a break-room unit that has gone warm, we check airflow, the condenser, and the R290 charge before anything else. Dust from a carpeted office space collects on the coil and chokes the cooling, so a good cleaning sometimes solves it outright. If the sealed system is truly weak, we recover and recharge under EPA rules, and we give you the written price first.
