We see KM heads that have lost capacity or stopped harvesting because the evaporator and water distribution are crusted over. A descale and a fresh filter cartridge usually brings production back.
- Bad water pump or stuck harvest valve. When a clean doesn't fix it, the real failure on a Hoshizaki is usually a worn water pump, a stuck harvest valve, or a leaking float. The pump bearing tends to go around year seven, throwing a loud pump and a high-amp fault. We replace the full pump assembly and fit OEM harvest parts rather than aftermarket coils.
- Reach-ins and prep tables shutting a line down. Most of what fails on Main Street is the boring stuff: a Hoshizaki reach-in with a dead condenser fan motor, a torn door gasket sweating, a prep table running warm on a clogged drain. We carry common fan motors, relays, gaskets, thermostats, and start components, so a lot of these get fixed the same visit.
