- Water pump giving out around year seven. KM water pumps wear out around year seven. The bearing fails, you get a loud pump at startup and an intermittent high-amp fault while it's still making ice. We replace the whole pump assembly rather than just the motor, because the impeller usually cracks once the bearing goes.
- Prep-table and undercounter faults. Hoshizaki prep tables in the QSR kitchens run warm when the condenser ices or the discharge-air thermistor drifts, and undercounter ice makers throw a high-temp alarm when the condenser packs with dust. We carry calibrated thermistors, fan motors, and start components for one-visit fixes.

Why are my Hoshizaki cycle times getting longer?
On Dublin's moderately hard water, scale on the evaporator is the usual cause. It stretches the harvest and drops production. A descale and a fresh filter typically fix it. If a water valve or pump is failing, we'll catch it and replace it off the truck.
