Refrigeration and ice machine repair in San Ramon

We dispatch out of San Ramon, so this is the shortest drive we make. A lot of the cold-side work here runs through offices. Bishop Ranch cafeterias, the micro-markets tucked into the towers, and the restaurant row at City Center Bishop Ranch all lean on walk-ins, reach-ins, and ice machines that a few hundred people depend on daily. When a unit at a working campus goes down, it moves to the top of the list.

What we see around town

Ice machines are the steady call. San Ramon runs on Zone 7 water, and it’s hard, so scale builds up on evaporators and water lines and slowly kills production. A Manitowoc Indigo NXT or a Hoshizaki that used to fill a bin overnight starts coming up short, then throws a fault. We’re Manitowoc-certified, factory-trained on the Indigo NXT, NEO undercounter, and QuietQube remote condenser line (certified to service, not a sales dealer), and we service Hoshizaki and Scotsman the same as any independent shop. A descale, a fresh water filter, and a cleaned condenser usually brings them back.

On the food side: walk-in coolers behind the City Center kitchens icing up or drifting warm, True and Beverage-Air reach-ins with bad fan motors or door gaskets, Turbo Air and Atosa prep tables that won’t hold temp through a lunch rush. Common fixes are evaporator fan motors, defrost timers and boards, condenser fan motors, and contactors. We stock those on the truck, so most calls close in one trip.

We handle sealed-system work in-house with proper recovery, evacuation, and weigh-in under EPA #1279674151528. We’re also trained on R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant through Mainstream Engineering, which matters for a lot of the newer Atosa and undercounter units showing up in these kitchens.

Residential Sub-Zero

Up in Gale Ranch, the Dougherty Valley hills, and Norris Canyon Estates there’s a good amount of built-in Sub-Zero and U-Line. We service those too, again as an independent shop, no factory-authorization claim. Sealed-system, electronics, and the usual gasket and fan work.

Costs and hours

The diagnostic is $75, waived when you approve the repair, and you get a written quote before we touch anything. Open 7 AM to 7 PM, seven days, and the same number covers after-hours emergencies. We’re an ADRIUM Service Solutions line (CSLB #1136642, BBB A+), the refrigeration side of the same crew that runs Bay Area HVAC Service and Bay Area Refrigeration Service.
