A warm walk-in at midnight is not a next-morning problem

Bars, restaurants, and grocery floors run on product that spoils. A reach-in that quits during dinner service or a walk-in that drifts to 45°F overnight isn’t an inconvenience, it’s thousands of dollars of inventory and a health-code clock ticking. When you call after 7 PM, you talk to a tech, not a dispatcher. We triage on the phone first. Half the calls we take can buy time before anyone rolls a truck: clear the condenser drain, reset a tripped high-pressure switch, pull a frosted-over evaporator out of a defrost fault, move product to a working box. We’ll walk you through what to check and tell you straight whether it can hold until morning or needs a truck tonight.

What we prioritize

Commercial outages with product at risk go first. A failing walk-in compressor at a restaurant jumps the line ahead of a slow ice machine or a residential Sub-Zero that’s still holding temp. We’re honest about queue order when you call, so you know whether you’re looking at 90 minutes or first thing in the morning.

What we carry and what we can do on-site

The truck stocks the parts that strand most kitchens: condenser and evaporator fan motors, start components and run capacitors, contactors and relays, defrost timers and termination switches, common door gaskets, and refrigerant for top-offs. Sealed-system work, leak repair, recovery, evacuation and weigh-in is done in-house under our EPA #1279674151528 (Section 608). We’re also HC (A3) / R290 trained through Mainstream Engineering, which matters for Atosa and other hydrocarbon units now common in newer equipment.

Manitowoc ice machines get factory-trained service. Andrew completed the Manitowoc Ice and Koolaire Field Service Seminar, so Indigo NXT modular, NEO undercounter, and QuietQube remote-condenser units are diagnosed by someone trained on them. We’re certified to service Manitowoc, not a factory sales dealer. Every other brand (Hoshizaki, True, Traulsen, Turbo Air, Beverage-Air, Perlick and the rest) we service as an independent shop.

After-hours calls carry an emergency rate on top of the diagnostic. We tell you that number on the phone before we head out, never after. You get a written quote before any work, and the $75 diagnostic comes off the bill if you approve the repair.
