What breaks. What we fix.
We service Victory commercial refrigeration as an independent shop. No factory-authorization claim, no dealer pitch. If your Victory reach-in, prep table, or worktop unit is running warm or won’t hold temp, we’ll come look at it and tell you straight what’s wrong and what it costs to fix.
Victory builds workhorse foodservice equipment: two- and three-door reach-in refrigerators and freezers, undercounter and worktop boxes, sandwich and salad prep tables, roll-in and pass-through units, and glass-door merchandisers. They’re common in restaurant lines, bar back-of-house, and cafe kitchens around here, and most of the failures we see are the ordinary ones that come with a box that runs hard every day.
The usual calls: a unit that won’t pull down to temp, ice building up on the evaporator, a fan motor that’s seized or screaming, a condenser caked with grease and dust, a defrost cycle that quit, or a door gasket so worn the box sweats and runs nonstop. On prep tables the rail section warming up while the base stays cold is a classic, and it’s usually airflow, a clogged drain, or a tired evaporator fan. A lot of these are same-visit fixes. We stock common fan motors, gaskets, thermostats, defrost components, relays, and start gear on the truck.
When the problem is in the sealed system, we handle that in-house. Compressor replacement, refrigerant leak repair, evacuation and weigh-in to the nameplate charge, all done with proper recovery. We’re EPA Section 608 certified (EPA #1279674151528) for refrigerant handling, and we’re trained on R290 hydrocarbon (A3) systems too, which matters as more units ship with flammable refrigerant. Sealed work is the expensive end, so we’ll always quote it in writing before we cut into anything. Sometimes the honest answer is that a fifteen-year-old box isn’t worth a new compressor, and we’ll tell you that instead of selling you the repair.
How we run a call: $75 diagnostic, waived if you go ahead with the repair. Written quote before any work, no surprises on the invoice. We dispatch out of San Ramon, 7 AM to 7 PM, seven days a week, and the after-hours emergency line is the same number, (925) 999-4095. When a box full of product is climbing toward the danger zone, that’s the call to make.
We cover the Tri-Valley (Dublin, Pleasanton, Livermore, San Ramon, Danville, Alamo, Blackhawk) and the greater East Bay up to Concord and Walnut Creek, including Lafayette, Orinda, Moraga, Pleasant Hill, Martinez, Oakland, Berkeley, Fremont, Hayward, and Castro Valley.
Bay Area Refrigeration Service is a line of ADRIUM Service Solutions (CSLB #1136642). If your shop also runs HVAC or espresso equipment, our sister teams Bay Area HVAC Service and Bay Area Refrigeration Service can help, and you can find the parent company at adriumservice.com. Reach us at [email protected] or (925) 999-4095.
