Oakland keeps more kitchens running than anywhere else in the East Bay, and the equipment shows it. Temescal, Uptown, and Rockridge are packed with restaurants pushing their walk-ins and prep tables all night. Jack London Square has the bars and breweries, where the ice machine and the back-bar coolers are the first things to fail under a Friday crowd. Downtown runs hotels and office cafeterias. What we fix

Walk-in coolers and freezers that drift warm or ice up the evaporator. Reach-ins and prep tables that won’t hold safe temp. Bar coolers and back-bar boxes that sweat or quit mid-shift. Ice machines that slow down, make soft or cloudy cubes, or stop harvesting. Compressors short-cycling, condensers choked with grease and dust, failed start components, bad fan motors, stuck TXVs, and refrigerant leaks. Oakland’s water is moderately hard, and on busy ice machines that means scale on the evaporator and slow harvests. We descale, swap water filters, and tell you straight whether the unit needs a deep clean or a part. On Manitowoc ice machines we’re factory-trained, certified through the Manitowoc Ice and Koolaire Field Service Seminar on Indigo NXT, NEO, and QuietQube remote condenser systems. That’s certified to service the equipment, not a sales dealer.

We service everything else as an independent shop: Hoshizaki, Scotsman, True, Turbo Air, Beverage-Air, Traulsen, Continental, Atosa, Perlick, Delfield, Victory, and the rest. We’re also trained on R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, which matters on Atosa and most newer self-contained units. In the Rockridge and Hills homes, we handle Sub-Zero and U-Line built-ins too.

The truck carries the parts that fail most, so a lot of jobs finish on the first visit. When something has to be ordered, you get the part name and a real ETA.

Same-day, outages first

We’re open 7 AM to 7 PM, seven days a week, and a down walk-in or a dead ice machine goes to the front of the line. After-hours emergencies reach us at the same number.
