Volume isn't huge, but when an Atosa box warms up before a dinner rush, the loss is real and immediate. We service Atosa as an independent shop, no dealer claims, and the run over the hill through the tunnel is a short one for us.

Atosa is the cheap commercial workhorse, sitting under a True on build, so it fails a little earlier, but the repairs are usually simple: iced-up evaporators from a stuck defrost, condenser fan motors seized, dirty coils choking airflow, door gaskets that quit sealing and run the compressor nonstop. We carry fan motors, relays, thermostats, gaskets, and start components on the truck, so a good share of these get fixed on the first visit.

Reach-in and prep-table failures. Atosa MBF reach-ins and MGF prep tables in the Theatre Square kitchens ice the evaporator from a stuck defrost, seize a condenser fan motor, or choke airflow on a dirty coil. The door gaskets quit sealing and run the compressor nonstop. We swap gaskets, clear evaporators, clean coils, and replace fan motors from truck stock, checking the seal through its full swing.
Prep-table drains. The MGF sandwich and salad tables clog at the condensate drain, leaving a puddle under the unit. We pull it, blow the line clear, and drop in an inline screen if the kitchen's willing, then clean the coil if the rail's been swinging warm.
R290 sealed-system work. A lot of the newer Atosa and self-contained boxes here run R290 propane refrigerant, and we're trained on hydrocarbon units for them under EPA #1279674151528. Leak repair, recovery, evacuation, and weigh-in are done in-house. Orinda's EBMUD water isn't brutally hard, but scale still builds over time, so we check any Atosa undercounter ice plate too.
