When a dual-zone unit can't hold both temps, it's usually the cooling deck, a fan motor, or recalibration. We rebuild and dial them in instead of pushing a replacement.
- Tight-install compressor faults. Compact Summits get boxed into cabinets with no breathing room, the compressor runs hot, and you get short-cycling on the overload before it quits. Early on that's a relay, overload, and airflow fix. We confirm freestanding versus front-venting built-in first.
- Gaskets and cold controls. Undercounter doors bumped shut with a knee tear the gasket at the corner, and the box frosts or runs nonstop. Thermostats and cold controls wear with age and either freeze everything solid or won't pull down. Both are truck-stock fixes for us.
