You get a written quote before any work, and the $75 diagnostic comes off the bill when we do the repair.

- Compressor running hot in a tight cutout. The most common Alamo Summit call is a freestanding compact dropped into a cabinet with no breathing room. The compressor runs hot for years, then starts short-cycling on the overload and one day won't restart. Caught early it's a relay and overload swap plus opening up the airflow. We check whether you've actually got a freestanding unit or a true front-venting built-in before anyone blames the fridge.
- Wine and beverage centers off setpoint. The wet bars and butler's pantries in the Stone Valley and Round Hill homes run a lot of dual-zone Summit wine units and glass-door beverage centers. When one fights to hold two temps or drifts warm, it's usually the cooling deck, a fan motor, or a thermostat. We calibrate and rebuild rather than push a replacement when the unit's worth it.
- Torn gaskets and frosted boxes. Undercounter Summit doors get bumped shut with a knee and the seal tears at the bottom corner. The box either frosts over or runs nonstop. We carry gasket stock and cold controls, and a worn-out thermostat that's freezing everything solid or won't pull down at all is a same-visit fix on most models.

Depends on what failed. A relay and overload swap is a clear repair. If the compressor itself is gone on a compact unit, we'll give you the straight repair-or-replace talk with the numbers before you commit, since on a small box that can go either way. -
