- Flaker gearmotor and auger bearing wear. Scotsman F-series flakers feed the raw-bar and seafood displays around Broadway. As the auger bearing wears and the gearmotor loses torque, flake output turns thin and wet. We replace the gearmotor and bearing, inspect the extruding head, and check the water float.
- Prodigy cuber stalling on harvest. Scotsman C-series Prodigy cube machines scale up on Millbrae water and hang in the harvest cycle, dropping thin or cloudy cubes. We descale the evaporator, replace a fouled water level probe, and verify the hot gas harvest valve seals.
- Nugget extruding head and auger on undercounter units. The NUC and Meridian nugget machines in local cafes wear the extruding head and auger over time, so the chewable ice packs soft or slows to a trickle. We rebuild the head, swap the auger bearing, and reset the Prodigy sensor.
