We pull and clean the condenser, check the condenser fan motor and start components, and verify the charge so the compressor stops short cycling.
- Sweating and frost on KCGM merchandiser doors. The marine humidity near the BART station tears at swing-door gaskets and wears the self-closing hinges on Kelvinator glass-door merchandisers. A door that no longer seals sweats, frosts the evaporator, and drives the run time up. We replace the gasket, reset or swap the hinge cartridge, and clear the condensate drain.
- Freezer that will not hold on KCHFT models. A Kelvinator freezer creeping above zero is usually a defrost fault, a stuck defrost timer or a burned defrost heater, or an iced evaporator starving airflow. We test the defrost cycle end to end, replace the timer or heater, and clear the coil so the fan moves cold air again.

You are based in San Ramon. How do you reach Millbrae, and is there a bridge surcharge?
We run I-580 west through Hayward, cross the San Mateo Bridge on Highway 92, then take 101 north into Millbrae. It is about 45 minutes without traffic.
